Our management, advisors and investors have experience working with fashion & luxury companies such as Burberry, Frette, La Perla, Limited Brands, Warnaco, Tommy Hilfiger, LVMH, Hugo Boss and Diesel.
Cecilia has a track record in launching and marketing successful e-commerce businesses. She has launched and marketed online stores for Nine West, Burberry, Frette, and La Perla. She has grown sales from 40 - 70% year over year for fashion brands.
She has experience in running and working for internet start-ups such as K2, RichFX, Abilon, and was CEO of BoutiqueY3K, an ecommerce consulting firm. After working at dot com start-ups, Cecilia joined established multi-national luxury and fashion brands in senior and executive management positions and was involved in ecommerce, merchandising, marketing and operations for Burberry, Frette, and La Perla.
Cecilia was recognized in 1999 by Silicon Alley Reporter among the " Top 100 Internet Executives in NY." She was named the National Association of Women Business Owner's "New York Businesswoman of the Year" in 2000. Cecilia is among 96 executives featured in the book "Distinguished Asian- American Business People" published in 2004. She has been featured in WSJ, Asia WSJ, VOGUE, Asiaweek, BusinessWeek, Fortune Small Business, Entrepreneur, Advertising Age, E-commerce Times and was on CNN's "Entrepreneurs Only." She is a frequent speaker at conferences on E-commerce, Multi-channel Marketing and Entrepreneurship.
Sharon Harsa is a financial executive and CPA with almost 15 years experience working in the fashion industry. She has worked with brands such as Hugo Boss, Emanuel Ungaro, Diesel and La Perla in their wholesale, retail and internet operations. Prior to fashion, she worked for several years in the services/consulting industry focusing on pension plan liabilities and benefits. More recently, she has been working in software development and with an online business start up. Sharon is also on the board of directors of a not for profit dance organization and is committed to helping creativity thrive.
Mary Jo is the cornerstone for all StyleTrek designers. Her brand experience includes Bloomingdales, Liz Claiborne, Calvin Klein Sport, Warnaco, Christian Dior and Tommy Hilfiger Europe. Mary Jo has diverse knowledge in bringing collections to market, sourcing, developing product, merchandising and managing vendors. Based in Brescia, Italy for the past fifteen years, Mary Jo has consulted for trade shows and international conferences in addition to founding The Club101, an international group of English speaking expatriates living in Northern Italy. Mary Jo will be the calling card for all StyleTrek designers.
Livia gained significant ECommerce and Marketing experience working for
primary luxury brands both in Europe and US. She is responsible for
managing the day-to-day ECommerce operations and administration as well
as developing marketing strategies. She also oversees StyleTrek's Customer
Service and Fulfillment. Livia earned a Degree in Business Administration at
Bocconi University in Milan and completed her post-graduate education at New
York University; she is native Italian and French speaker and fluent in
English.
Paul J. Raffin. Mr. Raffin has a track record in growing successful fashion & luxury brands. He currently consults in the fashion industry with a focus on strategic planning, organizational development and brand building. His most recent assignment for DZ Trading involves the launch of two new brands, in addition to defining a reengineered business model for this Shanghai-based global company. Through December 2009, Mr. Raffin was the Global Group Chief Executive Officer of Frette Inc., a provider of luxury linens, a position he held since January 2008. From February 2007 to January 2008, Mr. Raffin served as Chief Executive Officer of Frette North America. From December 1997 to January 2007 he served in various positions at Limited Brands, Inc., most recently as President of the $2 Billion Express, Inc. division. Prior thereto, he was President, Mail Order of J.Crew; President of Gant, a division of Crystal Brands; and President of the Colours and Coloursport Division of Colours by Alexander Julian. Mr. Raffin currently sits on the board of directors of dElia's, a vertical retail company servicing the teenage and contemporary market. Mr. Raffin has previously served as a director of The Bombay Company, Inc., previously a retailer of home furnishings.
Varsha Rao is an internet veteran with experience in e-commerce and online/mobile media. Currently CEO of SingTel Digital Media, publisher of inSing.com, a local search and lifestyle guide in Singapore, Varsha has been based in Asia for the last few years. A recent speaker at AdTech Asia and Echelon 2010, Varsha is also on the leadership council of the IAB Singapore. Varsha's internet career started in 1998 as the Founder and Co-CEO of Eve.com, a leading online retailer of beauty and accessories. From 2004 to 2008 she then moved on to Gap Inc. and served as Vice President & General Manager of the $400M business OldNavy.com. Varsha has also consulted for consumer technology companies at McKinsey & Co. where she co-authored the white paper, "Internet Advertising: New Medium or New Marketing Paradigm." Varsha has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Desiree Gruber has parlayed lifelong interests in fashion, culture, art, entertainment, and technology into a thriving media conglomerate. With her agency, Full Picture, as a foundation, Gruber embodies the modern entrepreneurial spirit. Gruber has been instrumental in building some of the world’s most prestigious brands and properties, ranging from 15 years representing Victoria’s Secret, launching three hotels with Ian Schrager and creating the hit television show Project Runway. Additionally, Desiree has guided the careers of high-profile personalities such as Heidi Klum. Full Picture’s other successes include the trendsetting HSN shopping shows Curations with Stefani Greenfield and Grayce by Molly Sims. Gruber has received a Peabody Award and six Emmy nominations for executive producing Project Runway, as well as over twenty media industry awards.
Alexandra Wilkis Wilson is Founder and Chief Merchandising Officer of Gilt Groupe. With over twelve years of international experience in luxury goods and retail, Alexandra is Founder and Chief Merchandising Officer of Gilt Groupe, an innovative company that has revolutionized the fashion industry and ecommerce in general. Alexandra has been featured in Forbes, Fortune, Crain’s, The Wall Street Journal, Women’s Wear Daily, InStyle, The Los Angeles Times and The New York Observer in addition to on-air appearances on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and FOX. Prior to co-founding Gilt Groupe, Alexandra oversaw retail operations at Bulgari, managing 15 North American stores. Before that she managed Leather Goods Sales Planning for Louis Vuitton North America. She began her career working for three years in investment banking at Merrill Lynch based in London. She subsequently worked as a consultant for retail guru Marvin Traub at Financo Inc. Alexandra holds a B.A. from Harvard College where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Alexandra speaks five languages. She lives in New York City, her hometown, with her family.
Mary Gail Pezzimenti is the online director for Luckymag.com, overseeing Lucky's social media strategy and multi-platform tech and content partnerships. Lucky recently launched a fashion and beauty e-commerce platform with a cash-back affiliate program and partnered with social-mobile networking company Foursquare to offer the first nationwide store directory on foursquare.com. Prior to working at Lucky, Mary Gail held a corporate position at Condé Nast as editorial projects director, implementing online initiatives company-wide. She joined Coné Nast in 1993 and has worked as the managing editor of Domino, GQ, Women's Sports and Fitness, and Details magazines. Gail also spent two years at Harper's Bazaar (Hearst Publications). She graduated with a BA from Emory University and holds an MBA from New York University.
Kecia Coby is a marketing and entrepreneurial professional in the beauty and ecommerce industries. Her multi-disciplinary skills include research, strategy, product development, planning, and implementation.
Kecia works to define the unique proposition of a brand, utilizing her experience to create a crystal clear vision. Through market research and insight Kecia helps companies identify and truly understand both the consumer and marketplace. Kecia’s experience includes concept development all the way through to marketplace execution.
With 20 years of experience, Kecia has honed her marketing skills working for beauty companies such as Elizabeth Arden, Avon, Clinique and Borghese. Kecia spearheaded the successful launch of Kim Kardashian’s signature fragrance and was instrumental in securing an exclusive launch with Sephora.
Zach is a Sr. Principal at Diamond Management & Technology Consultants, a firm that designs and executes business strategies which capitalize on changing market forces and technology.
Zach has advised Fortune 500 executives on how to improve operations and increase top line growth through technology-related strategies. His advisory and execution experience spans industries - including healthcare, financial services, insurance, high-tech, media / entertainment, and wireless/telecom.
Zach was an angel advisor for Sitters & Company, technology strategist for a European 3G wireless startup, and is currently advising Wasatch Powder Monkeys as they near funding. He is also an angel investor in Performance Fabrics Inc.
Prior to Diamond, Zach had many roles and responsibilities at Intel - including microprocessor design, video conferencing marketing and strategic software account management. Prior to Intel, he worked at MIT startup Akamai Technologies. Zach has a BSEE from the University of Michigan.
Anthony is a senior level technology and operations executive with over twenty-five years experience in technology and management. As Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer for eFashionSolutions LLC, a full service eCommerce provider, Anthony worked with brands such as DKNY, Oscar de la Renta, Vince, Ben Sherman and Babyphat. Anthony also has a consulting business in development, e-commerce and data integration with clients such as Siebel Systems, Sterling Commerce and iWay Systems.
